More things to count down to (but I won't be doing official countdown for those): the start of the new season of De Mol (The Mole) (this Sunday), RS-X's third birthday (26 January), RareSlash's fourth birthday (12 March), and the third birthday of my online journal.
Ah, yes. De Mol. For the next eight Monday mornings, I'll be one of the million and a half people trying to find out who the Mole is. Expect much babbling.

Okay, um. Remember that Gríma/Eowyn bunny I had? It kind of started plotting itself in my head yesterday. I'm slightly freaked out.I've been on tolkienslash since about three months after it was founded, which is nearly four years ago now, and yet the first actual LotR fanfic I'd write would be ... het? WTF? Anyway, I've got the general timeline and plot points worked out, and some scenes and vague dialogue in my head, so it seems that yes, I will actually be writing this.
