Um. Can someone tell me where Dale's Ring Challenge is located.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2002?
Harry Potter fandom, Marcus/Oliver/Terence, Marcus/Lee, and of course the random switch to style-centeredness.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
My war!drabbles. Yes, Evitar is more popular and better-written, but I wrote that so fast I hardly lived in that universe, really, and I'm still wibbly about it for some reason. The drabbles, I love because I wrote them over such a long time, and because I still like them.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Yes. Writing HP fandom again, for one. Writing completely unexpected pairings for another. Writing style-centered where I'd always been plot-centered. And, of course, Sin, which was my first foray into darkfic. Did I learn from it? Yes. I learned that I shouldn't ever think I can't write a certain genre/pairing/fandom before I've tried it, because I'm a much more versatile writer than I'd previously thought.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
I want to write more Strange Love. like, a lot more SL. If possible, most of it.
