The Two Towers Countdown: 19 days

Christmas Countdown: 26 days
There was a time when I could go to sleep and not jerk awake at the sound of a siren. There was a time when I could get up in the morning and not look out my window afraid of what I might see. There was a time when I wasn't afraid of what I'd read in the newspaper.
Sigh.
This weekend will be Christmas Shopping Weekend, at least for the people on my Christmas list who don't live in the same country as I do. I have some vague ideas for most of them, so at least there's that. Getting cards from charity today, as I do each year, and writing them this weekend, and sending on Monday. You people who get presents? No opening them until Christmas, d'you hear?
I seem to have talked myself into doing a LumoxNox website. Um. Bugger. My inner archivist is back with a vengeance.
I'm so fucking tired it's not funny anymore. *falls asleep on keyboard*
Have decided that, as a present to myself, I'm going to get a manicure some time between my birthday and Christmas. Because for once in my life, I would like to have nice hands, dammit. And maybe if I get it done by a pro once, it'll be easier to keep up with proper care.
Must write drabbles. Marcus/Oliver for
deepsix, Marcus/Terence for
ronwheezely. *pokes brain*
I hate it when I want to do something and I can't figure out how to do it. *hits Outlook, Access and Excel with fish*
Meeeeh.
