Am having a very random resurgence of Dylan love, spurred by randomly happening across If You See Her, Say Hello on one of my (ancient) tapes. God, I love Blood on the Tracks. Yeah, yeah, I know. Real Dylan fen prefer Blonde on Blonde. It's not that I don't like Blonde on Blonde, it's just that Blood on the Tracks is a lot more bitter and whistful, and that's how I like my Dylan.

In other news, the following things need to get with the program and start obeying me:

One: Newspapers and news sites, who need to tell me not just that Linz got 30 months of which 10 effective, but also how long she was remanded, so I can know whether she'll actually be going back to jail or not. Bitches.

Two: Fellow commuters. Yo, fuckos, If you step aside while people are getting off the train or metro, and let them leave before sueezing you way in, you'll actually be sitting down faster than if you insist on going against the fucking stream. Morons.

Three: Technology. Both this computer and the one at home are having serious issues, and argh! Am about to try voodoo. *shakes rubber chicken*

Signs of boredom

I just compared our office (building) to the Force. No, really. It has a light side and a dark side. The Dark Side, where my desk is (heh, of course), continually has computer problems. The Light Side doesn't.

Also, I spent the last half an hour trying my best not to call my coworkers "Yo, bitch!" Methinks I need a more soft-spoken fandom. Yes.

Bored as hell and swamped with work. Oh, the humanity!

Woo! Packed and ready for Manchester. I'll have a laptop and probably a connection to the net, so I won't be completely gone, but I'll be online a lot less starting tomorrow around noon.

I just hope this fucking glad infection doesn't decide to make a last-minute comeback. I'll be under enough stress as it is, having to pull double weight. Coworker isn't going. Her kid's got pneumonia. :( Poor thing.

Will be back sa usual some time Saturday afternoon.
