Hate training days.

Am ignoring various kernuffles.

Kill. Me. Now.

You know, I like FCA-L, because it makes me think about fandom and the things surrounding it. But sometimes, I'd like to hit the majority of them over the head with a large mallet. People, can we please lose the snobbish attitude? *rubs temples* I may be hyberreational, but I hope I've never told anyone anything to the effect of "You seem to be getting very emotional, I'm sortry of the critisism upsets you." It's possible to be rational and not stuck-up, and anything approaching sarcasm does not have a place in a rational discussion.

(Don't mind me, I'm grumpy. My head hurts, my knee is seriously hurting, and it's not the tendons this time, and I'm just generally in a bad mood, and there's that bloody TRAINING! Blar.)

This month's chat-in will be missing Z for part of the time, but it's the only way we could manage. (Z, remind me we should schedule the next one dead early, yeah?) As usual, most of the activity will be in #femgeeks. I'll also be on #swansongs for the swans, and #puppies for any and all boyband blather. Please remember that distinction, people. :)

What: 24 hours of non-stop chatting
Where: IRC, squidge.org, #femgeeks
When: 15:00 on Saturday - 15:00 Sunday (EST)
Who: Myself, Zarya for most of the time, and anyone else who wants to show up. And I do mean anyone. Don't be scared, little one. :)
Why? Because we can! And because we're trying to do this every month this year. Call it community-building.

I'm not going to take position on the Chris debate going on ATM, but I do want to point out this article to people.

Edit: Er. The end of the first page? Swear to god, I hadn't read that far down before I linked, and I didn't remember that part!

OKay, so I just whiled away an hour putting together the package for Strange Love to send to Sibs. or trying to, at least. Here And Now and Easy have been reformatted for Word, and I've made some minor changes. Adding After won't be a problem. What is a problem is the freakin' synopsis, because I can't figure out what's supposed to be happening beyond the initial ... next two chapters? Argh!
