Dilemma.

What I should do: Write Sin, aka the prison darkfic crossover from Hell. (Thanks a lot, Nick "The Devil" Carter.) For this, it is imperative that I be in a dark, mean mood.0

What I want to do: Read LotR. This would put me in a dreamy happy mood.

What I am doing: chatting with shadowlight and katari, whcih is putting me in a silly happy mood, neither suitable for writing darkfic or reading happybooks.

It seems my dilemma has solved itself.

I need a new copy of LotR. This one's read and marked to pieces because I scribbed quotes of note and slashiness in the margin, and earmarked them.



It would seem that at age sixteen, before I even went through my big wave of Must Have Slash No Matter How Bad It Is, I was quite the little Aragorn/Gandalf (and Legolas/Gimli) slasher.
