State of the Union

So. Facts re: emigration to NYC:

• I'm young, I'm fairly presentable, I'm adaptable, I'm bilingual, I have a European high school diploma. I have a good chance of finding a decent job.
• It is quite possibly cheaper to have my stuff shipped over there, so I don't have to worry about buying furniture. (Will, however, need new tv and video. But that's okay.)
• While living inside the city is expensive, the suburbs are supposedly not that expensive. It's not like I've not been commuting all my life anyway.
• If worst comes to worst, there are a number of people in/near NYC I could crash with.
• I will need to contact the US embassy this week to find out how soon I would be able to get a visa.
• I will need to cut down on all expenses and save money. Lots.
• I am quite possibly insane. AUGUST?

While I'm on the subject

How many of you do live "near" (for USAian values of "near") NYC, anyway?

Trying to explain, for the update of my site, what attracts me about my fandoms. For the puppies, it's sounding somewhat like this:

Well. See. There's these five guys. They're called *NSync. They're pretty, and amusing. They make pretty decent music, if you like pop. And I do. Because they're attractive guys, and they touch each other in fun ways. And there's these people, see, and they write good stories about them.

Details?

Okay, see, there's Joey. Who is the cuddliest guy you've ever seen. I want to throw my arms around him and never let go. (This is why Melle should not be allowed in the immediate vincity of the puppies.) I want to be Brianna, his daughter. He's sweet and amusing. And a ho. He spreads the love. Then there's Chris. Witty elf with a mental age of 14. Don't argue with me. He is. And Justin, sweet, loveable, adorable Justin. (I am so over my Infant issues here.)

And I like to think about those three, or any two of them, touching and hugging and snuggling and kissing and more. Happy thoughts.

Oh, and then there's That Other Boyband. The BackStreet Boys. I like them, too. I like Nick-ay, especially when he's doing things to Justin. I also like AJ, especially when he's doing things to Joey. Or when they're griping over Nick and Justin. Oh, and Brian. I like Brian. I want to feed him milk and cookies. I do not know why.

Lance and JC can go hang out with Kevin and Howie -- in someone else's head.
