However, since you're obviously concerned about the person that inspired that entry, here's a tip: listen. Don't judge, don't tell them to make themselves happy, or to get over it, or whatever, don't condemn their cutting, don't do anything but be there and listen.
Thank you. Thank you, thank you thank you.
(And if you make Spike a semi-regular cast member, I just might die. Which is good, yo. Please? I'm may be prepared to have your babies in exchange for that little favour.)
Bitches!
So now my first credit card bill's not been paid, and the new one's arriving today. Fuckers!
Thankfully, the company will pay us back any bank charges or somesuch that we get because of this shit. So I'll get any interest I have to pay back. But this is not a good impression to make, yo! Still. We're all getting a 2% raise because adjustment to the index (or something like that). Retroactively since ... June, I think. That's good, right? ^_^
And the nice Spanish girl from the office next door just came by and gave me choclate. With hazelnuts, too, my favourite!
1 Not the NYC one, thankfully, the one from before, with the Metclub and Hottopic payments.
2 Only us Belgians get paid over here, so the company hires a social office to work out our salaries and social charges, pay them to the appropriate people, and pay us, then charge the company accordingly.
JAMES & LARS - A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWNThe title alone. And: "Lars time"? Ahahahahaha! Man.As we all know by now, the band members of Metallica are big fans of COC (Corrosion of Conformity). Whenever they are playing in the San Francisco area, chances are that you will see a few familiar faces in the crowd, and sometimes even on stage...
After the COC show in Sacramento on Saturday (no Metallica boys attended that one) Pepper (guitar & vocals) surprised his friend James by showing up at his house to raise hell. They spent the afternoon jamming and catching up. After the jam session, they drove to San Jose for Sunday night's show.
In San Jose we had another buddy show up...Lars Ulrich. He, of course, managed to show up on "Lars time," catching only the last three songs. What he did miss was the guest appearance by James during "Diablo Blvd." James has played with them in the past, but this was the first time that he's performed that song. After the show, Lars and James were hanging with their old tour buddies until early in the morning.
