*flails around* OMG POTTERDAMMERUNG BWEEEEEE!

I'm swinging by the shop this afternoon to stock up on semi-healthy and unhealthy snacks, then go home, finish cleaning, setup my blanket fort bunker, shave my head, dress up, and plan to be in the queue somewhere around tennish. Have pre-order, will bounce for candy?

I'll be posting blow-by-blow reactions as I read the book, probably, like I did last time. Expect no coherency. I may resort to voiceposts filled with primal noises at some point.

Random predictions, non-spoilery as I'm spoiler-free myself, but cut just in case:

• It occured to me last night that if RAB is indeed Regulus Black, as we all seem to think it is, then Draco is going to die in Book Seven.
• Hagrid's going to bite it. He has to, all Harry's father figures do, and he's the only one left.
• Percy's going to bite it.
• If not him, some other Weasley will. (Not Ron, please not Ron?)
• Harry's going to bite it. Duh.
• If Lee is mentioned at all, I will implode from bweee. (What? That totally counts as a book prediction, dammit!)
• There will be a sharp decline in warverse stories as we all get jossed to hell. :(
• Neville will save the day in some way.
• [ETA] Blaise Zabini revealed to bea cross-dressing lesbian. Will never happen (although, on the other hand, I'm putting nothing beyond JKR at this point), but how awesome would that be? And the wank, the glorious wank!
• Hopefully, I will continue my two-books-streak of vindication for one more book. Not sure what I'd be vindicated about, but still. VINDICATION! [/ETA]
• There Will Be Wank.

Also, if I could pick one and only one ship to be canon by the end of the book, I'd pick Harry/Luna. Because it would maximise the wank from both the Harry/Hermione shippers and the Ron/Hermione shippers, and you know what? The Harry/Luna shippers bloody well deserve it. Couldn't happen to a nicer part of the fandom -- although in HP fandom, "nicest part of the fandom" is not unlike "least bloodthirsty piranha," but still.
