The Good News: Having been convinced for the last ... four years, I think, that my lava lamp was b0rked, or at the very least the lightbulb was, I found out I was wrong about that. Huh.

The Bad News: This means I'll be even more easily distracted than usual. I've searched the yarn mess, I've searched all my bags, I've (I think) toroughly looked through my pile of clothes, and I even looked behind the fridge, and I still can't find my hand warmers. Dammit! I've run out of places to look, but I can't help but think I'd have realised the same day if I'd left them somewhere. And yet ...
