Not when you're trying to make a point, they're not. Then they just make you look dense, like you're not sure what you're really saying.

Plus hardly anyone uses them right. The correct way to use them is to have a space between each period . . . like this. I'm guilty of using them wrong too, but hey, atleast I know the correct way to use them! That counts for something, doesn't it? Doesn't it?

I don't put the spaces in between, either. My excuse is that I have trouble with the English punctuation rules, and I tend to use a mixture of English and Dutch punctuation. More Reasons Why Melle Needs a Beta.
