Note to self: In future, take clearer notes while RPing, because your scribbles become quite unreadable a week after the fact. P.S.: Am quite certain that elves, whacky as they are, would not have made a helm that has +2 protection from kittens.

Well, I sold the helm--it was elven, and I'm playing a dwarf, so I'd not have been able to use it anyway. But still!

My notes while RPing turn into keywords which are fine while I'm playing but are incomprehensible to anyone BUT me.

Names, occasional places, effects of spells cast on me [random "+2 Init, 3 armour" and things like that] but absolutely NO context except when I remember to write the date.

[Although my very favourite from anyone's notes was one of our other players, who wrote simply "Kill Silentium, then kill everyone else".]

And I laughed uncontrollably at the kittens thing. :D

Maybe Elves living in Ypres would have done so. A kitten landing in your face during the annual kitten tossing festival where they toss kittens from the highest church tower to ward of the Witches would probably cause a D20 reduction to your charm stats :)
Even reading that sentence while smoking would cause D10 damage to your fresh air supply, if under water, it's probably a fatality :)

Heee! I usually scribble down the notes on temporary effects on a piece of scrap paper, and on the evening itself, I can usually still decypher my handwriting. A week later, however, and suddenly I can't remember what treasure I got, nor can I tell from my notes, apparently. :D

The GM was rather amused, though. :D

Ha! :D Y'know, knowing our GM, it's not inpossible that at some point in the future, there will in fact be some sort of kitten-related item. o_O
