1) Who or what is on your computer's wallpaper?

This, both at home and at work.

2) Go through your DVD/pre-bought video collection. Which three actors or actresses feature the most in them?

Heh. Good question. I would't know. My tastes run far and wide, and I honestly don't know that I have two movies or more with any one actor. Possibly Tony Curtis?

3. Go through your book shelves. Which three authors have written the majority of the books?

Raymon Feist, Stephen King, and Ian Rankin. This doesn't really mean much, though, except that they've all written long series to which I've been addicted at some point or other. Now that I have much more space to put my books, I'll probably be expanding my library much more.

4. And what about CDs?

Hm, I don't really do CDs, but the majority are U2, Metallica, and Dylan, in that order. Looking at my MP3s, that'll be Dylan, U2, and Flogging Molly, again in that order.

5. And what about your LiveJournal user pictures?

Me first and foremost, and everyone else has one icon at most, so. :D

In other news, I've been thinking of putting together some sort of small writing group from those on my friendslist who write. It'd be sort of like NaNoWriMo, only without the insane word count, with fewer members, and all year round.

Basically, a place to talk/vent about what you're writing, what your goal is (wordcount wise, or just "have this finished by X date"), and to encourage/poke each other to finish things. Possibly also some healthy competition to keep ourselves writing.

ETA 2: Just quickly re: poll--The reason that question about fanfic/non-fanfic is there because while I do think neitehr is "inferior", there are already a number of JL communities for fanfic, and not that many (that I know of and would like) for non-fanfic.
