I have solved MY clogged drain by... ummm.... taking very short showers. And then watching the water slowly lower down.

Ahahaha! Well, I think I solved the clogging problem (by basically using twice the reccommended dose, ahem) and my dad pinpointed where the smell was coming from. Now if only I could get off my arse and clean my kitchen ...
