For CC. Her boy and my girl, and I hope to god this is AU.

playing favourites

It was a well-known and equally well-kept secret among Ilyssa Vector's friends that she had a soft spot for redheads, especially those of the Weasley variety.

The first year she taught Arithmancy at Hogwarts, the Weasley twins were in their third year. On the first period of the first Monday of the year, she had walked into the classroom for the first second years class of the year, spotted the two fiery heads of hair in the back, and smiled to herself.

Most people couldn’t even tell the Weasley twins apart, and therefore couldn’t really prefer one over the other had they wanted to. She could, and by the end of that year, she decided that Fred was her favourite.

George was more easy-going, but Fred reminded her of herself, sometimes, especially when he was playing Quidditch. There were times when aiming the Bludgers towards other players seemed almost personal, and she could wholly relate to that.

Unless they were playing Ravenclaw, Ilyssa Vector cheered for Gryffindor, and more specifically for Fred Weasley, and the fact that her seat next to Minerva McGonagal gave her a very nice view of Fred’s backside had, of course, nothing to do with that.

And in return, I would like ... Fred/Snape! *grins wickedly* (Fred's going to kill me now, isn't he?)

The rest will follow, I promise. Just be patient.

Melle, since when is Snape yours? I thought this was about pairing up each other's characters? ::tries to weedle out of it:: You are one evil, evil chick.

(Fred's going to kill me now, isn't he?)

Oh, don't worry about Fred, worry about me ;)

[/freaked out]

Ahem. All right?

And, I like it ::giggles:: ::points to icon:: Thank you :)

Millie: ::growls menacingly until she reaches the return challenge, at which point she decides that she will love you forever::

Being less territorial than Millie, I liked the drabble very much. :D

Re:

I'm sorry, Millie! But it's AU and innocent and she's just LOOKING! (So very disturbing and vaguely incesty, almost.)

And dude, explain to me the reasoning behind your request for Millie/Harry?

Re:

No, YOU guys were to challenge ME to something involving our characters. :D Although, if you'd prefer, I can change the return challenge.

Heh. Okay. Firstly, Millicent has a Seeker fetish which she really doesn't enjoy admitting, but it's true, which is really the most superficial aspect, 'cause Harry Potter is, like, the god Seeker, and I've been trying to explain to her that, like, fellow orphan empathy really isn't a basis for... anything, but that apparently enters into it for her, and she's been telling me for ages that he's her favourite person on the interhouse team (you know, when she was on the team proper) and that she was so surprised being that she was brought up among people to whom he was practically the anti-Christ and was so terrible and then when she got to Hogwarts, Professor Snape hated him so much and since Professor Snape has never been wrong about anything, ever she pretty much hated him, too, and so I'm guessing that the interhouse team was probably the first time they'd ever interacted, really (unless she'd kicked his ass at some point which really isn't that improbable) and he was all nice and cute and rumpled and not very anti-Christ-y, which weirded her out for a bit until she sort of started to like him, if any of that makes sense, and man, I am the master of run-on sentences when I'm stoned. But. Um. Yes.

Re:

Hee! See, Harry's opinion of Millie is largely along the lines of "Hot, scary, and Fred's girl friend so OFF-LIMITS!"

Hm ... I may have an idea, here. *runs with it*
