So did anyone else see Room 101 with Johnny Vegas yesterday? Public confession of his chatroom addiction. I was laughing and comiserating at the same time.

(All quotes off the top of my head, but fairly accurate.)

Johnny: "My favourite chatroom is Beauty's Castle. They have a pub, and a hallway, and a toilet."
Paul: "... A toilet?"
Johnny: "Yeah, so when you're angry with someone, you can go there. I've actually done that, twice. I sat there, angry, saying 'I(m going into the bathroom before I get so angry I start smashing inanimate objects that don't even exist.'"

Paul: "What's the longest you've ever spend [in a chatroom] in one go?"
Johnny: "Twenty hours."
Audience: *laughter/awed noises*
Paul: *looks impressed*

Me: "Wuss!"

Johnny: "The sad thing is, I went into the 'pub' once, and there wass no one there. So I sent two whole screens talking to myself, going 'I'm in chagre now, there's going to be changes!' I even redecorated. I installed Guinness. Then Tiger comes in and says 'Are you alright?' 'Obviously not.'"

Johnny: "There was this one girl, she was really special." *audience laughter* "I've been on a virtual picnic!" *audience laughter* "*laughing* She even complimented me on the sandwiches!"

Oh, yes. Been there, done that, got the fangirl merchendise.

Oh, look, it's Steve in something other than a U2 t-shirt! Shock! :p

I may or may not have had a breakthrough revelation about Strange Love yesterday. Must ponder this. Must also write something today. No, really, self.

... Watch me be incredibly productive in other ways just to avoid writing. Oi.

On a different note, I'll be in London Sunday 19 January. Anyone want to meet up by any chance?
