For those of you not on that list, allow me to explain. There's this new bloke on the list. Somone (I think it was Sue) basically said Hi, hello, welcome, what kind of fanfic do you like, what fandoms are you in? A perfectly normal question, one would think. Think again. Bloke posts a link to his faq. I frown. People ask elaboration, since not everyone has the time to golok at the faq, posting liinks in response to a question like that is highly bizarre, and the faq in question does not, in fact, answer the question asked ("Do you like slash/what ?") in any way. Bloke gets even more evasive, talks about his "mission as a writer" (don't get me started), etc.

There are strange, strange people in the world.

(They often play "oldies" during the daytime and at night. And they play lots of techno (which I don't like in general, but lots of people do and MTV hardly plays any of it) and other non-top-40 music.)
