Me: Um. You nkow the guys who discovered DNA? Watson and Crick?
Nat: Uhhuh. Utoh. I think I see what's coming. <giggle>
Me: Yeah. Stupid brain and the slashing. I've actually "seen" this pairing since um. Roughly 1997. Was just into slash, learned about DNA in bio, and my brain went "Whee!"
Nat: bwaha!
Me: I'm such a NERD!
Nat: dude, science is slashy, yo. All these little teams of researchers working together for years on end. Working far past regular office hours. They may be nerds, but they have NEEDS!
Nat: ....I'm one too. *sigh*
Me: *giggle* God, YES!
Me: And honestly, I may fear my brain, but if anyone else wrote this, I would be all rolling over and purring and stuff. Because they're SCIENCE GEEKS! IN WUV!

Me: GLASSES! And science as foreplay!

Me: Ororor when they'd just made the big discovery, and they did the whole riding-through-town-on-one-bike-yelling thing (! can't make these things up, yo!) and with the adrenalin and eee!
Nat: <giggle> and then they go back to the lab and have lots of sex! on the lab table! next to tubes of chemicals! And the whole time one of them's going "Shit, watch the equipment!" and he's talking about all the laboratory glassware!
Me: Heeeee! And jokes about "gene samples"!
Nat: yes! hee!
Me: We are such dorks.
