Any RPS. Preferably something longer, since I think a lot of people will be submmitting shorter stories, and I'd like to have things of all lengths. :)

Careful who you say longer to...I've got a lovely Metallica one that only runs around 370 pages...

I'll store the idea in the back of my brain. I mean, heck, they sorta explored the human/ghost love story in SANDCASTLES.

And if the person who died doens't *know* they'er dead they can be on this plain for a bit; maybe John could be helping them to accept the fact that they have to cross over but... well, something else happens too. Hmmm. So, who, then?

And in Ghost, too.

I can't think of anyone offhand except maybe River Phoenix, but that's partly because I have this thing about him talking to John.

which leaves me back at the beginning of my own quandary. There aren't too many real people I want much to slash other than John, so I gotta wait for either the right pairing for me or find someone to pair with John (other than Methos, who, unfortunately, is not real).

but if this scenario works for you - then go for it, kiddo. we need more new blood in the JohnFic area anyway... :)

Well, yes, Cure, and U2, and Sex Pistols, and Beatles, and Depeche Mode, and Duran Duran, and...I'm sure you can guess what sorts of things I like. I don't really do actorslash at all, so it'll have to be musicianslash, but other than that, I'm pretty flexible. (Erm...)

Do you read Cure fic at all? I've kind of drifted from the fandom recently, but one stand-out story that immediately comes to mind is tangerine's gorgeous The Walk (which, okay, I'm biased about, since I did beta it). ta's site is down indefinitely, and she didn't have it archived anywhere else, but I can mail you a copy if you're interested. Another good one, which I'd also have to mail, as the archive it was on appears to have vanished forever, is Adrift and stawberry girl's A Night Like This, a historical AU featuring Perry as an innkeeper, Simon as a witch, and the rest of the band (current lineup) as thieves. Purrr. However, it never did get finished, so it might not really be suitable for publication. Just recommending.
Also, in the world of Duran Duran fic - if that doesn't completely squick you - there's the Horrible Crush trilogy by "Alizarine," a pen name for Jemiah Jefferson, whose original vampire novel Voice of the Blood (http://www.jemiah.com/writing/novels/vox1.html) can be found in stores everywhere (and is fucking brilliant).

Somehow, between the time I wrote that and now, I've managed to get sucked into Cure fandom. Funny how that happens, innit. You go about your business, then you get shown a picture of Perry and Simon kissing, and suddenly you're shaking your fist at people and defending Lol.

Anything m/m or f/f (or m/m/m or f/f/f, or ...), any pairing (musicians, actors, whatever). What do you mean by "format"? Any length, but since most people'll be submitting shortish stories, I'd like some more longish things. Deadline to be set once we have enough candidates. :)

But I really need a deadline, because otherwise I'd end up procrastinating forever *sigh*.

And just out of curiosity (because I'm not submitting the one I'm working on because I've talked about it too much online for it to be fair) would you consider m/m/f, or do you want to keep it strictly pairing-centred?

I have to admit, I prefer it when all three are doing each other.

Although that's probably due to a traumatised reaction to a story that was advertised as a threesome and turned out to be het-with-two-partners and badly written for a fandom I was dying for slash in.
