(no subject)

So I'm looking at this job, which on the surface looks like something I could enjoy doing -- admin stuff in an IT environment, presumably surrounded by geeks or at least pseudo-geeks. Except then I see this in the "Key Responsabilities" bit:

Influencing managers and staff, over whom you have no authority

... That just somehow strikes me as a red flag. o_O

That almost sounds like they're trying to scare people off, because yeah, everyone wants a job where they have responsibility but no authority.
