Okay, while I've been a lot less angry about my job lately, there is one thing that still drives me insane, and that's noise. I don't deal very well with loud noises anyway (music is different, because that's not noise, but even so I prefer that to be loud for me and quiet for everyone else, except at a concert or something, because I'm neurotic like that), but it's magnified by a factor of ten when I'm on the phone. I have a hard time concentrating on a phone conversation when anything is going on in the background, especially conversation, because my brain starts listening to the background conversation and then I get confused. So when I'm trying to do my job, which involves lots of telephone conversations, and people are standing right by my desk talking rather loudly, or even jumping up and down (so kidding!) halfway across the floor, it really annoys me, and I don't appreciate having eyes rolled at that annoyance. I'm all for enjoying your job, folks, but that's no reason to impede my ability to even do mine.

In more pleasant news, the (spoilery, natch) new companion photos are very pleasing. Well, in that New Companion is hot, anyway. I'm somewhat less convinced about Tennant's shirt.

Also, have asked CO if she'd like to come along to Pirates, and she was v. enthusiastic, whee!

I hate outside noises, too. :-/ The only time they don't distract me is when I'm reading a really good book, or fanfiction, in which case I rather annoyingly forget to be distracted, as people show up behind my shoulder when I'm not expecting them to. *g*

The new companion is very pretty indeed. Have we seen her before? She seems strangely familiar. I don't mind the shirt too much -- I've been in LotRips fandom for a while now, and they all have terrible taste in shirts. So I got used to it. Anyway, I got into Dr Who because of Tennant, so... Unless he shows up in a pink baby doll, I'll stick by him (although, come to think of it, the pink baby doll could be interesting).

And PotC it is, apparently. *g* No idea when it comes out, here, though I'd love to see it! And, yes, Johnny Depp, definitely! I think that's the only celebrity that really makes me go OMGgorgeoussexyajfklsmd. But also just the funneh. And the horror comedy thing. Me loves those, too. :D

And, oh, CO = Crush Object, of course, so, hee, yay, have a lot of fun! :D

I'm sorry, I was going: commanding officer? Huh? Although I'm sure you've mentioned this before... *idiot* And, dammit, I don't have a happy icon. Must correct that. But, imagine a happy icon, for now. ;-)

Duh, never mind. I thought it looked like her, but then I thought: "Isn't she dead?" I do have a habit of confusing people, so I thought she must be someone else. But not, apparently.

She's, apparently, going to be playing a different character. Which won't confuse /anyone/.

And here I thought that only happened in series that were several decades old. o_O Oh, wait, Dr Who is several decades old, I guess... *g* But I was wondering how they were going to revive her!

She's not even the first person to appear twice - there's been loads of actors from the 'classic' series who've appeared on the new series.

Heh, okay, point in re: Lotrips. Come to think of it, compared to popslash, the shirt is nothing, really. As long as he doesn't start wearig Naked Lady Pants ...
