Oh write it! You'll do a great job and it'll be a good and satisfying to read. And, it'll help me a little in an odd way. Why? Because I've had a blind!Harry bunny bouncing around that I'm working hard to ignore. So please - do me a favor and write it!

You'd be helping me ignore it! If I know another is writing a blind!Draco story it will persaude me not to write one of my own - even if it's a different character I'm considering.

And, I'm sorry if you think I would ever take your story or idea. If that's what you mean by helping me write something. I would never intentionally use a story plot of another. There have been instances where I stopped writing something because I found stories too similar to my own story to continue. Out of respect for the first writer and fear of being accused of being a copycat I've abondoned many projects. It's perhaps the curse of joining a fandom late.

And hey, if you didn't mean to imply something like this in the question - sorry I misinterrepted you.

I know what you mean, though, I've got this vague idea for an H/D thingie, which is just ... too close to a story by V for me to feel comfortable with it. Hell, even things like Polar make me feel weird because the style feels like I'm trying to be Silvia, like I'm leeching.

Hi there. I'm glad I totally misunderstood you! And you know I haven't ever looked at things like this before. If you write your story I'll be more comfortable writing mine - that's a nice thought really. I'm sort of used to thinking - if I did that you'd like I was copying you. So thank you for giving me another way to view things! I think I might take you up on this too. I've got 7 page hand written today. It sort of took over me. I'm not sure if I'm going to get to Blind!Harry but it could evolve that way. At the moment I'm just thrilled to be writing again! Thanks for the encouragement - it's appreciated.

Hehe. There are worse kinks to have I think. And besides at this point - who cares?! We're writing about characters from childern's books - I don't think the blindness kink is going to condemn you! lol
