Dude, i know. I mean, sure, it's hs univrese, and all, but how am I supposed to take him serious when he claims to "create" a universe with thousands of races, gazillions of individuals, and absolutely no homosexuality? I mean, seriously.

Exactly. And there is at least one mention of homosexuality in the Expanded Universe Star Wars books, which are approved by Lucas and are taken as canon. Here's the exact quote:

"That was what Sarn Shild wanted everyone to think. In truth, the Moff's sexual preferences did not run to human females. Bria traveled with him as a lovely show object, to be displayed to Imperial officials, just as Shild would display any trophy."

I agree, it is awfully idiotic for Lucas to say right off that there's no homosexuality in SW. This isn't the first time he's fucked up on stuff like this, either. The whole "A Jedi shall not love" thing was created as a plot device to justify Anakin turning to the dark side, and was only incorporated into the story when the story of AOTC was written.
