Is there a U2 slash archive? I remember there being talk of one, but I don't know what happened in the end.

Edit: Also, if there isn't one, would anyone be willing to make/maintain one?

and also: now that U2 slash is no longer rare, what will happen to all the stories formerly archived at RS-X? I assume most of the authors have home pages, but one-stop shopping would be convenient.

See, that's just it. If there's an archive, I don't archive the stories anymore, but if there is, the stories that've already been archived, stay.

Argh, don't make me make one myself! (I'd design it, but I can't keep it updated.)

If you aren't looking for anything particularly spectacular, I'd be happy to build and maintain an archive....

I have a domain name (www.loveisblindness.net) but nowhere to host it. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be ever so grateful.

I mightmaybemight be able to host it on the space of femgeeks.net, unless you've got the money to buy your own space with ircweb.

Ircweb is our host. They allow slash and stuff, and they give you 200MB and unlimited bandwidth for $9/mo.

Cool. Do you have Frontpage or anything? I might be able to use XML if you have Frontpage, which would aide immensely in the design of a cool archive. (Am fighting the urge to use FP for my personal site. Nooo, Im a handcoder, and i'll STAY a handcoder!)

Hey, I've got about 100mb left on my domain and we could use some of it for an archive. I would definitely maintain it as well. Let me know :)

*grin* Thanks, and yes I believe you're right. Computer manuals and tech journals :)

No prob. And I think it all sounds good. I'll double check and make sure there won't be problems with hosting a domain in a subfolder.
