I'm getting sick of fandom. All of it. Bcause it's just so fucking full of people who think that the right way to demonstrate how 'passionate' you are about your chosen fandom is to become all mouth-frothingly incoherent about it.

Am I frothing-at-the-mouth? I like to think I keep at least some semblance of coherence and logic. If I don't, it only further proves my point: fandom sucks.

And it's not always the fans. "It is absolutely essential that you respect my wishes." ?!?! Fucking Anne fucking Rice, man. Good thing I was never into that fandom!

Speaking of fandom, I feel like I should be more upset that Joey Ramone is dead. Because while I did feel bad about it, it didn't really hit me as hard as I feel it should've. Because I'm a punk. I should feel bad about one of my idols passing away. But I don't feel all that bad. Because, I guess, I'm not a fan-type person. And I'm much more of a London-style-punk, anyway.

Still, though, Mr Ramone, we'll fucking miss you, man!

Fandom Makes Slashers Bitter? Fandom Makes Cynical Slashers? Hmmm...

But, you see, it has to have a cool acronym. It's all about the acronyms, baby.

Hmm, I'm seriously tempted to form Slashers Hate Irritating Fandom Trends (SHIFT). Fun acronym, but when you spell it out, it sucks. And it doesn't mention the bitterness. How about BAF, Bitterness Against Fandom? That could include everyone sick of fandom, not just the slashers.

Yeah, we should include the non-slashers, because it's not just slashdom or even ficdom I'm sick of, it's fandom in general.

Hm. "Absolutely Bitter Fans Against something-with-a-B"? I mean; come on. Wouldn't you just dig to be part of 'ABFAB'? The acronym'd just enhance the 'bitter wenches' vibe. <g>

Wait, I've got it--Fandom's Evils Deserve the Ultimate Punishment. We're FED-UP!

Okay, that stinks too, but you can't say I didn't try. :-)

Actually, I like it! Damn. I'm seriously contemplating a little website for this. Y'know, just for fun. Gah. Like I didn't have enough websites to work on. I hate you people. :p
