Managed to pack, clean and cook in an hour and a half. Wow. Go me.
Had an epiphany on the train home, but kat already said it best Because really, people, I'll be a lot more likely to shrug off, say, an anti-gay site when I stumble upon it that I would when it's been thrusted in my face and I've been ordered to read it, all while I was actually trying to have a nice dinner.
RPS has been "outed" before, in Q Magazine. That was a slight "eep", but then I didn't worry about it anymore. This? If it' true (big if, but still), it's scary as fuck.
Also, maladygirl has come up with the perfect name for the idiotic lotrippers:

That's definitely my issue with it, yeah. As someone said on my friends list, you wouldn't go up to straight actors with RPHet, why would you go to gay actors with RPSlash?
I don't know if either this story or the VSD thing is true. I'm lening towards "no" myself.
And I really hope you're right and it's not gonna have much of an impact if it is true, because femgeeks is my baby, and I don't want to lose it.
I think slash is fun but I can't imagine myself ever writing it. And considering all the dramas that I hear about going on within the fandoms, I think this is probably a good thing. I would not be able to handle it.
Yeah, it's prolly best to stay out while you still can. Fandom politics, gen, hte, slash or non-fanfic, are hellish.
