Hello, my name is Melle, and I'm a Sims addict. ^___^ Er, I have a couple of questions, if you'e got time to help me, here.

Is there anyone here who has a subscription to Simfreaks and could do a download for me? I just need the freakin' drum set, that's all. >_<

How do you give your Sims a wardrobe? Mine all have the same clothes all the time.

Where do I find celebrity skins without having to sift through endless junk?

And if there's anyone who's actually figured out how to customise Sim skins, would you be willing to teach me, or make a few for me? Before I go insane?

In Livin' it up and House Party, you can buy a wardrobe and change their clothes with that... But that's probably unhelpful ^^;

I have Livin' Large! I just can't seem to find a wardrobe. :/

When you're buying things if you click the objects icon twice it should arrange things by the rooms they go in, rather then things like "electrical" etc... so if you do that it'll be in the bedroom section.

So how do you fill it with clothes?

It already has all the clothes that come with the game, and if you download and install new skins those will just end up in there too. *nods*

You can download wardrobe sets from a variety of sites.

Some of my favourites are at Boutika (http://www.boutika.org/) (I used to be a skinner there ... um, but it's been attacked by hackers lately and you're likely to get porn instead of Sims skins), SimSisters (http://simsisters.simsloft.com/), and 3D sister (http://3dsister.darsis.com/).

Make sure to grab the regular versions instead of the Hot Date ones. Wardrobes work differently in Hot Date.

You can get a wonderful program for managing Sims wardrobes (called, surprisingly enough, Sim Wardrobe) from Paladin's Place (http://paladinx.home.together.net/).

The best place to get help with skinning and all things Sims-related is Neighborhood 99 (http://pub37.ezboard.com/bstarlightsims). It's members only, but membership is free and relatively easy to get. (Oh, and DON'T ask anyone there to nab SimFreaks downloads for you ... it won't go over well.)

My little Sims site is here -- very sim (http://very.net/sim/) -- but I haven't updated it for ages, and don't plan to do any more updates.
