Should probably check the Symposium bb more. Look! A non-RPSer drawing the parallel between slashers in the early days, and RPSers now! Will wonders never cease?

Also, read T'Mar's A View From The Gallery column on the Symposium, she has a lot of interesting things to say about fandom in general that really struck a chord with me.

I'm currently in the middle of composing a thank you note that if I don't get overly gushy will go to the symposium, but if it does, I think I'll send it privately.

I mean, I saw a few with similar attitudes on the Slash Research group, but it's so rare for them to feel so...neutral that this is really wonderful.

Yeah, I rather like T'Mar. She has some rants on her website that I like a lot. :)
