There seems to be a kernuffle in puppyfandom about (I'm gathering from peopel's posts), hierarchy and "cool kids" and whatnot.

Let the record show that yesterday's post was not, I repeat, not in any way complaint about people being "above" me or anything. Cause I know they're not. I know I'm always afraid to talk to the good/popular authors, but that's my problem and certainly not theirs.

So, yeah. Just clearing that up here. I said this a few months ago, when this kernuffle first emerged: from where I stand, none of the people being accused of cliquishness actually are cliquish, or feeling better than the rest.

(Edit: Um, that sounds defensive. I wrote it when my main emotion was "Oh shit, I didn't start this, did I?" And I'm still wondering if I did. Or helped.)

Hmm. Fandom hierarchy raises its ugly head...we've battled this demon before, haven't we?
