You Know You're Goth When ...

... you have three piles of laundry;
  1. Black (large, to be washed with a special expensive product claiming to keep clothes actually black for longer),
  2. "White" (medium, containing everything that needs to be washed in 'boiling' water: towels, underwear, socks, etc.)
  3. Other (just enough for one mashine, and that's including my sheets)
Hee.

Ehehe. I know that. Living with your family does wonders to not let you feel it all that much, though. ^^

Except if I still lived with the family, my black clothes would just be washed with the rest, and fade v. quickly.

My black clothes get washed with other dark clothes because my mother is afraid that they'll stain the lighter ones if washed together with them. (But if you meant that they don't get washed with a special washing powder, true. I would, but I have yet to convince my mother it's necessary. *shrug* Washed out trousers and shirts then. How very old-school.)

If it were just the trousers and shirts, I'd not mind as much. I can buy new trousers, and washed out shirts are still cool. It's mainly things like the corset and skirt I'm buying that I'm worried about. And, you know, if I'm gonna be washing those with special liquid, migh as well extent the life of my shirts. ^_^
