Anyone want an icon? Anything? I'm in a graphic-playing mood, even though I should be IN BED! (Grrrr, self.)

Okay, so. I have no idea of who Irvine or Zell are, as I'm not into anime fandom. Nevertheless.

Re: Eeeeeee!

I love you. Please procreate and/or adopt and rasise sons in the conviction that all boys should snog other boys for the pleasure of us fangirls.

Sincerely,
Melle.

Allow me to introduce you to my favourite godess, Minerva. Also known as Athena in Greek mythology, Minerva was the patron godess of widom, arts, and war -- but only when the City is endangered. She was notorious for her chastity, which she defended ferociously. Nike, personification of victory, was her constant companion.

My name, Sofie, is derived from the Greek Sophia, meaning wisdom, of which Athena was the godess. The very first gift I got as a baby was a plush owl from my grandmother. Over the years, I've always liked her best, and I've gathered a small collection of owl statues. When I was studying Latin, I started to think of her as Minerva instead of Athena, but she's stil the same godess.

I've always strongly identified with Minerva. I'm smart, I like arts, and if push comes to shove, I will defend my home, even with violence.

Somewhere before I take off for the UK, I'm getting another tattoo done, of an abstractisised owL; it'll be on my belly somewhere.

And now I'm going to go home. I kind of feel like crying.

So I came home, and I spent about fifty minutes alternating between quietly sniffling, bawling, and singing Here Comes The Sun. (Eight years and I still kow the full blue and red albums by heart.) Then I took a shower.

I'm better now. Gui, Suka, Rox, I wish I could do something for you. *hug*

(And god, please, please, please don't let ny more of my idols die? Please?)
