Due to rerouting of the freefax number and other tomfoolery, I now have to deal with a two week backlog of faxes. Two weeks in which a shitload of annual services et al were carried out, which means that, not counting the half dozen or so I did yesterday, there are seventy-three faxes for me to handle. *wibble* I want my mummy.

Link of the day, mark one, via [livejournal.com profile] mousewrites: BSG and knitting, in which a knitting fangirl ponders what to do with one's stash in case of Apocalypse. Bwahahaha!

Link of the day, mark two: Bono is god. well, duh. :D

Link of the day, mark three, via [livejournal.com profile] dachelle: What To Do In The Event Of Snakes On A Plane. This movie is going to kick so much ass!

Pimp: [livejournal.com profile] megolas is looking for archivists to take a questionnaire. This includes strictly personal archives, so if you have a websites, go take it!

*strut* Damn right.

And another one from [livejournal.com profile] hobsonphile:

  1. Make a list of 15 characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment. (That way you're not leading the questions asked to fit the characters.)
  2. Ask your friendslist to post questions in the screened comments. (For example: "4, 6, 12 & 15 are starting a band together, what is their name and what kind of music do they play? Also, who's the lead singer, and what instruments do the others play?")
  3. After your friendslist has asked enough questions, round them up and answer them using the 15 characters you selected beforehand, and then post them.

(I'm not screening automatically because I see no reason for it. So there.)

Numbers 5 and 12 are getting married. What are the most wanted and least wanted presents? What theme does the wedding have and how long is the marriage likely to last?

... *cackles* I mean, ahem. Hee hee. Eeeexcellent pairing choice, there, bwahahahaha!

6,8 and 15 are lost in the woods, chased by the ordinary blood thirsty people we know live in every dark forest (thank you, American movie makers). Who survives, who has the heroic death and who makes the best comments?

[identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
*blinks* Okay, there's a combo I wasn't expecting. Eeeenterestink ...

*g* 6 and 8 are my favourite Cylons, 15 is my favourite number...I'm really curious what kind of stuff this meme will produce...

I'm using the same question for everybody:

A plane crashes into an isolated mountain range, and 1, 7 and 14 are the only survivors. Are they rescued before they succumb to the harsh mountain climate? If so, how? If not, why not?

[identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 10:11 am (UTC)(link)
*boggles at combination* Well, this ought to be fun. :D

2, 6 and 9 find out that they've all been dating / sleeping with the same person. How do they react? Who (if any) gets the guy/girl in the end?

[identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
... For that question, you picked possibly the hardest combo possible. "Thanks." ;P

Oops. Sorry. *looks suitably contrite and innocent* ;P

Just a quick note to tell you your thingie on my meme was... amazingly.. something. Spooky and fitting and woah, if I can write that, I win at life. Your idea? Just hit the right numbers.

Will think up a question to yours in a minute.

[identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 11:59 am (UTC)(link)
*baem* I'm good like that. Now I'm curious to see what I came up with! :D

[identity profile] sparklebutch.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 12:04 pm (UTC)(link)
On a far less cool note. 1 & 15 get married. They invite 3,6,9 & 11. They do not invite 2 & 14 on purpose.

Who's insulted? Who gets drunk and hits on a guest's older aunt? Who gets the flowers? And what do all the others - 1,15,2,6,9,11,2&14 - do?

[identity profile] bubosquared.livejournal.com 2006-04-04 12:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay, for the fannish list, this is going to be hilarious. Hilarious! Bweeee!

2, 7, and 15 are on a spaceship and engaged in a war of wits, battle royale style, with 3, 6, and 9. Does 13 sneak up and win? If not, who emerges victorious?
