... So I'm reading Spike/Xander fanfic, as one does, and I come across a paragraph in which Xander mentions The Love Boat, and, hand to god, seconds later, guess what comes on TV?

Yeah. I think the fanfic gods are toying with me again. Or maybe it's the TV gods. Or both, plotting against me together. And now I sound like Xander and clearly I've been reading way too much buffyfic again. Argh.

I think it was something by Saber Shadowcat, the one where the boys go on a cruise at the end? Tiny Smiles or something like that? It's not bad for comfortfic, but I need to remember to stop reading after the first couple of stories, because nearer the end, the whole "There is no sex but anal sex!" thing starts really grating.

Yeah, I can only take her stuff in select and limited doses. Not sure ifi'll be coming across anything new, either--S/X is my comfort pairing, which means lots of re-reading of old favourites, for the 17th time or something. :D
