Guess who just smashed one of the glass plates in her coffee table? Yep, that would be me. I still don't know how, but I tripped, landed on the table, and well, apparently glass isn't meant to hold 70kg of Melle. Fuck. That's going to be hell to replace.

(I'm fine, by the way, no cuts or anything, just a bruise on my knee because I managed to land knee-first. I suppose I should be grateful for that, at least.)

With all the trouble you have with those knees, you might consider wearing kneepads all the time.

I'm considering wrapping myself in bubblewrap completely, with the way I walk into everything all the time. Sigh.

Plus then you'd make that cool popping sound when you fell!

I'd start rolling down hills just for the popping sound.

I'm sure that'd be good for your knees.

what bad luck! I'm glad you're not hurt, but replacing the glass is likely to be unfun (or at least expensive).
