Overslept this morning and as a result forgot to copy the bit of Hooker AU I wrote last night onto Gimli. Dammit. I think that scene was pretty much finished, though, so I'm going to try and get some more written anyway. Not like I have anything else to do or anything.

I really do love her. We've been together less than a month, and so it's kind of funny to me, but right now I'm in that whole "I smile when she smiles, I hurt when she hurts" stage. Whenever she's depressed or sad, I do my darndest to cheer her up and sometimes it kills me when my methods of cheering don't help. Sometimes I wonder if I'm a bad girlfriend.

But the moments when she tells me she loves me and how wonderful I am make up for all of that. And even when I'm at my lowest and don't know if I can crawl back out, she makes me feel beautiful. That's only one of the reasons why I've fallen for her.

When I was little I wanted to be a boy. Or, at least, I really wanted to have a penis, so I could pee on snow and 'draw' fun shapes on it.

For some reason, I was the only one in my Irish Lit class who actually knew what buggering was. Hrm. What's wrong with public education these days?

I'm planning to pay a surprise visit to a friend in the UK since I have a week off.
