It can be cute and funny when done right -- that is, tongue-in-cheek. Unfortunately, there are people who take this whole genre seriously. The horror! The horror!

I don't understand the motivation, y'know. I mean, I adore the two-men-and-a-baby plot -- again, when done correctly -- but mpreg? The contrived plots these writers come up with in order to explain the mpreg alone would be bad enough.
