Note:

When I say bitching is good, I do mean bitching to people who're able to defend themselves. I could be the world's biggest bitch [which I'm not, not yet], but I'd never bitch out people who are not allowed to bitch back. Like people behind the counter at McD's, or any shop or store for that matter.

It irritates me to no end that the people doing this are the same people who'd never ever tell their friends or family how they feel, because y'know, those people might talk back. McD's people can't. They're not allowed. If they let that smile slip for a second, if they forget for a moment that The Customer Is Always Right, they're fired. They cannot bitch back. Bitching at them, especially for something that's not even their fault, like the company policy, is a cowardish thing to do.

Yes, I get annoyed at these people, too. Yes, a lot of them are incompetent shmucks who are physically incapable of processing your order correctly in less than 3 tries. But you know what? I've been there. I've been behind that counter -- albeit not at McD's -- and I know what it's like. I remember the pure, unaltered hatred I used to feel for alot of customers. I remember how utterly degrading it is when people are calling you a liar, a thief and an idiot, and you've to gnash your teeth or no pay for the temp.

Remember: Bitching, good. Bitching at people who can't bitch back, cowardish.

To quote one of the best movies of all time, "This job would be great if it weren't for the fucking customers."

-Randall, Clerks.

Damn right!

Actually, that job would've sucked even without the customers. I'm a pescatarian -- I don't eat meat, but I do eat fish -- and working with meat was disgusting for me.
