Well, fuck.

I think I just volunteered to do overtime (both for P&G and for Adobe) this Saturday, and possibly during next week as well.

I am clearly insane and looking to relapse with the tiredness (which seems to be improving--I suspect because my period is over now), but hey, money!

And now for something only the Belgians on my friendslist will understand: "[0800 telephone number] Gratis / Appel gratuite" does not mean "Call this number for a free apple". No, seriously.

Oh, I'm solely on the Flemish line, now. Nice change from having to put up with annoying condescending middle-aged Dutchmen, but I'm still looking for another job. :)

*blinks* Why do Flemish people have to call Scotland to get advice? I'm probably missing something here.

For some reason I've been thinking on the differences between Belgian people/culture and Dutch people/culture these past days. I mean, no deep thoughts or anything *g*, but just if one attitude is better than the other. Because, as Flemish people, I think we've propably got a, er, tiny little prejudice against Dutchies. Last time they said on the (Flemish) radio that some commission had made a list with what people were most welcomed as tourists in European countries. I mean, they interviewed people in I don't know how many countries and asked which nationality of tourists they preferred.

Apparently, it transpired that Dutchies are found to be very tolerant, and are quite high on the list of favourite tourists. Belgians, on the other hand, are considered rather intolerant (also of noise, etc.) and are auite a bit lower. Of course, I can't help but think that the Dutchies are usually the ones making the noise in the first place. Germans, apparently, are the least favoured, IIRC.

I do think that, on an international level, the Dutchies would have a better image than the Belgians, for being more tolerant and open-minded. But then they come on holiday here and are all "Ooh, people are so friendly and polite here!" So we're intolerant berks, but we're friendly and polite. On the other hand, Dutchies are open-minded and tolerant, and are so much more likely to tell you to fuck off. o_O

They call the 0800 number, but that gets routed to here, because we have al the languages centered here, rather than have small teams of one or two people in each country. :) Same as with Adobe, really.
