Am home. Have lots of thoughts and emotions, but more importantly a need for food. Expect long and rambling entry (as opposed to my usual short and rambly entries) later today. Or possibly tomorrow.

ETA: Ahahaha! Okay, I just spent fifteen minutes looking for the clicky=lighter-thingie for my stove. Could. Not. Find it.

It was in the fridge. *facepalm*

Yep, and nope. <g> Left Friday morning, arrived Friday evening in Belgium, left there this morning. Basically, just time to catch up with the family, go to the big family gettogether on my dad's side (81 people, and that's all children (my aunts and uncles), grandchildren (my cousins) and great-grandchildren), and go out for a drink with my brothers.

Eh. Do you miss them much? 81 people... well, that's a lot of people! Thank goodness you had time for a drink with your brothers. It must have been pretty busy at that family get-together!

I never had all that much contact with that part of the family, especially their whole tendency to get married and have kids young. (My brothers and I noted that we were the only ones of the grandchildren who didn't bring their girlfriends to these things. Granted, that's partially because only the youngest has a girlfriend, but still.)

We went for a drink after we got home again, had an actual conversation, too. Realisation: we're all grownups now. (Well, in the case of the youngest one, a growing-up, but still.)

It's very strange when you realise when people have grown up. They're suddenly so different from before. But it's nice, too. :-)
