Even after approximately seven hundred viewings, the snuggling scene in The Defiant Ones still makes me squee. And I still can't watch it just once and go on with the movie. I still rewind it at least once. Sigh. (One day, when I rule the world, I shall commission Sidney Poitier and Tony Curtis to make me The Defiant Ones: The Director's Cut. Oh yes. Failing that, I will whoreship anyone who'd write me good slash for this movie.)

Also, how come I never noticed that the claypit scene gives us a very nice view of Mr Curtis's wet-denim-clad ass? Hello.

It occurs to me that I may have located the source of my love for antagonist pairings. This was, after all, the first movie I ever saw slash in, way back when.
