I seem to have quite a bit more of a Gryffindor in me than I thought.

So I'm just sitting at my desk, bored, when suddenly I hear something in the meeting room, and I see someone I'm quite sure is not one of my coworkers. I rush into the MR, and what do I see but two guys (I'm quite sure they were younger than I, actually) packing up our data projector, calm and easy.

So I run after them (stupidly not even thinking to yell for help), manage to get myself between the one with the projector and the emergency exit, and slowing him down long enough that he got seperated from his mate. He gets past me, but I grab hold of his jacket while he's on the stairs, and get the projector to my head as a reward.

Result: got the projector back, working and everything, a bump to the head, scrape on my arm and elbow, and a nice bruised and cut knee. Ow.

Note to self: Stop being a hero, bitch. Ravenclaw, not Gryffindor.

Batgirl, surely? :D

And yeah, I realised right after that really, I should've at least yelled to my coworkers for help, seen as how two of them are tall, muscled men and I'm a weak, non-impressive girlie girl, but that didn't occur to be until I'd been actually hit on the head with a piece of hardware. Ow.

Hm, get myself a Robin. not a bad idea. Should take out an ad. :)

Dude, I once chased a beer shoplifter clear through the store parking lot at 3am once. And this is when I was the only cashier on overnights. Only three months after I was robbed at gunpoint at my other job.

My mother is right, I don't have enough sense to be scared.

Yep. I'm a Gryffindor, all right. Rush blindly into danger. (But I didn't see any danger, I just saw two brats of my brother's age, having the audacity to just walk into the office and take a valuable piece of equipment, calm as that.)

Yes, but brats are often badasses, too. Ya gotta watch the little ones :)

But still, go you, kicking ass :) *pet*

I wouldn't say grabbing on to a jacket and consequentially getting hit in the head with a piece of hardware and thrown into a wall counts as "kicking ass", myself. :)

*purr*

(And dude, they were little. Like, barely an inch taller than I!)

Eh. Batgirl never really impressed me. But whatever floats your boat. :)
