If you could write...
1a) only five more pieces of fanfiction ever, what fandoms (and/or pairings) would they be in?
- The IRA!U2 story. Because I really want to write it, to prove that I can.
- The Marcus/Oliver, Harry/Draco epic like thing. Because if I get it right, it'll be all I really want to say abou those pairings.
- The Agatha Christie M/O, because I'd love to write in AC's style and world, and pompous!Percy, and Marcus and Olivre and mmmmmm.
- The Marcus/Ginny. Because, het.
- The Game. Because dammit, I want that damned thing finished!
1b) are your answers what they would have been six months, a year, two years ago?
No. Six months ago I was mostly out of HP fandom, and there'd be a mixture of Metallica, popslash and U2 bunnies up there. A year ago, there'd be ... pretty much the same stuff as six months ago, I think. Two years ago it'd be mostly Metallica.
2) only three pieces of original fiction, what genre(s) would they be?
- Ebony & Silver. Cyberpunkish SciFi. Dark. Eight years in my head, and I want to get it on paper one day.
- Strange Love. Obviously.
- Shintaid. Because I do love that world.
3) the feedback you never sent, who would it be to and for what story?
Mona Ramsey, not for a story, but for her Random Author's Notes. because they really shaped my thinking re: fanfic.
If you could pick...
1) The story you're proudest to have written, which would it be?
Sin. It's dark, which was a first for me at the time, and I think I managed to make it as desolate and desperate and harsh as I wanted. And also, I rather like the way the murder scene turned out.
2) A story that you could un-write, which would it be?
Pretty much everything I've written and posted pre-beta readers, but mostly Remembrance, because it was a lame and completely unnecesary sequel to Bad, which is a story I'm actually still quite fond of. (Both stories are Palpatine/Valorum.)
3) Five stories you've already read to take with you on an airplane, any fandom, any author, what would you take?
- Amber's Door, because it combines popslash with fantasy/SciFi, and yes.
- Jae's Borne, because it breaks my heart.
- Colleen's Lock and Key, because what's a plane trip without punkslash?
- AJ Hall's Lust Over Pendle, because I'll need a laugh, too.
- Al's Snitch!, even though it's unfinished, because fuck, man.
4a) A published author to sit down and talk shop with, who would it be?
Stephen King. Or JKR, but mainly to ask her questions about the HP universe.
4b) Would you discuss fanfic with them?
JKR, no. Stephen King, sure, but I'd not mention my SBM slash.
If you had to read...
1) Only one published author for ten years, who would it be?
Stephen King. I could happily reread his older stuff time and time again.
2) Only one fandom for two, three years, which would it be? (Provided there's enough fanfic in that fandom. Or even the fandom you wish there was enough fic for to last you two years.)
Harry Potter, but only if there'd be enoguh good H/D.
If you could make everyone...
1a) Write something in your little underrepresented fandom, what fandom would that be?
Punkslash.
1b) Would it be all one pairing, or anything goes?
Anything goes.
1c) Read one published novel, which would that be?
Stephen King - The Dark Tower series.
Yeah, no links to stories, my site's down atm.
