Can I divorce Harry? He's gonna be insufferable on Friday.

As do I, except in Philly they're four-hour-bouts of trying to kill people. *g*

Came off my last KMFDM show with three broken ribs.

*such an industrial chick*

Oooo! [snags you] A rivet head! Captured in the wild!

I must admit, I've always tended more towards the goth side of the spectrum than the industrial ,small>(and mostly 80's and early 90's goth at that), at least in terms of involvement in the scene. Though I'm quite fond of KMFDM, Funker Vogt, Fictional, Skinny Puppy, Malign, Front 242, Leather Strip, Wumpscut, Luxt, Kill Switch Click, Covenant...

While ze best friend is all industrial boi, and scorns all goth (Rozz and Sisters hating bastard!), I find myself loving things he wouldn't touch with a ten foot poll... EBM and pop-ish industrial acts such as Electric Hellfire Club, Apoptygma Berzerk, and My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult with um. okay, only minimal shame. hee.

and, well, in Los Angeles... gah. The scene is so fucking image conscious here. All of the shows I've been to, no one moves at all. Just stands and looks pretty. (though the best friend DOES swear that there was actually want-to-kill-you dancing at a Front 242 show he want to without me. so. there has possibly been one occasion)

!!!!!

I love Wumpscut and Funkervogt and Skinny Puppy. Actually, I love most of what you mentioned, and most of anything that comes out of Metropolis Records... Project Pitchfork, Informatik, Apotymous Berzerk... and I'm really a KMFDM stompy gal at heart, but.

I can't imagine what industrial shows must be like without the fighting. Everyone just stands there? At the last KMFDM show I went to, in June, it downpoured on the crowd before they opened the doors, so the entire show was like a really violent Slip 'n Slide. Came off of it with a couple of broken ribs. Most fun ever. :D
