There seems to be a big wave of Eminemlove on my friends list. This gives me warm fuzzies. Yeah, I know, I know, but I love him. And I love Silvia because she loves him for much the same reason I do, and she's all smart and wordy about it. Mmmm, smart girls and dysfunctional white rapper boys. heaven.

Oh, ye gods in heaven! Sil is writing girl!Em? *dies of lust*

Okay, I'm better. And all of this almost makes me wish I had another Em bunny. (Shut up, Beth, I said almost. I don't need more bunnies, and I don't care if I "owe" Em a relatively happy fic. :p)

Spent all weekend pondering deep ponderings about class and social environment and their influences on our lives. Have seriously rambled about it in in-progress email to Ruth. Must rewrite email sans stupid ramblings.

Well, see, as a charcter/person, he fascinates me, forreasons explained far better by Silvia here.

And disregarding that, I admit that a lot of his homophobic and woman-hating lyrics bug me, but a) I'm still not entirely sure how much of that is posing and how much is really him, and b) well, if he does think that way ... bottom line is, I prefer him over hypocrites who say they don't mind gays, but will raise hell when their own precious child is gay. I have this feeling that Eminem may be a homophobe, but that if Hailey turned out to be a lesbian, he'd not hate her for that, and in the end, I prefer that over the reverse.

Did that even make sense?
