Have been thinking.

(Short explanation for those not in *NSync fandom: The Puppy Shelter is an "organisation" of six people running FTP sites off their computers. Basically, dacey captures vids and mp3s and the likes, and they go up on the various FTP sites for people to download. In order to dl, one emails a central email address, and gets the FTP info for the Shelters.

reggie_mbq mentioned maybe doing a similar thing for BSB, and I offered my (somewhat limited data transfer) computer for that. However, I think the BSB shelter would have enough volunteers with better connections, and I was thinking of maybe doing a similar thing for U2.

I have a whole bunch of videos already downloaded. I'm sure I can figure out how to setup an FTP site on my computer. I'm willing to donate bandwidth et al to The Cause. Would there be any demand?

I'd love to help if you need it. I have some videos, but a REALLY crappy connection. (Its a pppphhhooonnneeee liiiinneee, UGH!)

But, uh, what's a FTP? All I got out of that entry was that you wanted to make a site where people could download U2 stuff... And in that case, much demand. But in the politeist way possible.
