Everything else aside, I have to say, I can't understand why any RPS writer would want the subject of their stories to read them. I mean, I would be completely weirded out by it, myself. I can't even write Nirvanaslash because Kurt looked too much like my brother!

But, yeah, my main anger and irritation right now isn't so much about the RPS thing, but about the stalkerish behaviour. Just because someone's a celebrity does not mean that it's okay to just go up to them and, quite basically, harass them.

yeah, THAT was what infuriated me the most. Telling this poor guy that, based on one of his few public appearances for all of, what, half a minute? Thousands of people are now speculating about the intimate details of his life. Tasteless, rude, disgusting.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Frankly, I was pretty much disgusted by the fact that everyone started speculating in the first place, and then wrote fics about the two of them. I was also *extremely* surprised that people welcomed the stories and thought them normal. And just after a discussion about how the children/wives weren't celebrities and shouldn't be included into the fics, too. Amazing.
