I would like to smack some politicians around with a rolled-up newspaper, please? Specifically, the liberal party. Fuckin' hell, the right to vote for immigrants has been an issue for over a goddamn decade, people. If you really believed that "We want them to have the right to vote, but the majority of the population is just against it."

Give me a fucking break.

One: You're leaders. So lead, already. Don't see where the majority is going and then go walk in front of them.
Two: Says who? What referendum are you basing this assertion on that "the majority" is against it?
Three: Oh, for fuck's sake. This has been an issue since the late Eighties. If you believed in this, you've have made more of an effort to change the public opinion, to sway the majority to your side. See also point one: Lead, you fuckers. And that goes for you lot, too, by the way. Yeah, I'm looking at you, Greens and Socialists.

In other news, I ought to update iconify me and The Project, but I don't feel like it. IS should be cleared in about five hours, so I'll email y-s then to cancel the hosting, and talk about whether and how much we're getting back or they owe us. Whee money!

I am going to write during lunch. As soon as my collegues get back, I'm going to go get food and grab a smoke, and then I'll write. Like, atc least get this scene over with. And stuff. I hate my brain, and I hate my muses. And oh, hey, did I tell you my brain randomly decided I should use a Dylan quote for each chapter/story, as a preface of sorts?

In other news, I'm kinda psyched about my new Sims project. Here's the neighbourhoods I'm planning:

Neighbourhood one: Me and the Original Muses

I want a house with Sean and Nick, and perhaps Jesse? I'm a bit scared that Jesse would end up with either Nick or Sean, or that there'd be this whole evil triangle thing happening. I suppose I could make her a kid, but blah. Why are there no Teen Sims? Fuckers.

Then I want a house for me, as well. Actually, maybe I could live with the Strangeloves, so there's four of us and no problems with love triangles. Hm, something to consider.)

Also, the Nutsoidz. Not sure if I wanna do all of them. I dl'ed some skins with dreadlocks, so I could actually do Ulla. Problem would be that eight people in one house is a bit much, if only for me to manage; So I'm thinking, I'll have Nora and Ulla, and Zita if I manage to make a good skin for her. Shouldn't be too hard. No, the ears and tail on Nora, that'll be hard.

I kind of want to include Ingmar as well, but maybe not. Much as I love the dork. And oh, Tina! I want Tina! Maybe I should have a house with me and Tina and Jesse and Ingmar. Oooh! Yeah! I want Tina, and Jesse and Ingmar would be great together. (Okay, now I'm crossing my own universes over. Fucking brain.)

Who else? No one from VRS, much as I love them. They're just. There's too many of them, and they're just. Not that dear to me anymore. Shintaid? Mebbe. I can't wrap my brain around High Fantasy characters using modern equipent. And E&S is just to dark for me to be so frivoulous with.

Oh, shaddup. :p I want Joey, Chris, Justin and Nick all in one lovenest. Because I don't care who does who, I'll love it all. Timbertrick? Choey? JuNi? Timbertone? Any other combination? Bring it on!

And I want AJ and Brian and Kevin, but I'm not sure which combination. Possibly AJ/Kevin and I'll just. Give up on Brian. Much as it pains me.

And I want Pink and Lance here too, even though that's not technically popslash, but um. I like that pairing. ^___^

Oh, no, the Popslash is common (though TimberNickToneTrick? Way to go, man). But the planning, the three different neighbourhoods, your own skin, the "Sketch rough outlines of houses, etc."... This is grand. You've taken the Sims to a whole new level.

And I admit the third neighbourhood has made me all fuzzy, espcially the uh, third house with the kids. Because yes. Except, must resist the evil temptation of Em-slash! Evil!

Muahahaha! The cuteness that is Em-n-Fred with kids shall conquer ALL!

And I actually have the body skin for me already, I just cannot seem to manage making a decent head skin. I'd be satisfied with just a generic young-looking woman with two-toned hair, but no luck as of yet. Will go off to look for punk skins in a bit.

Also, I'm not cool, I'm just a control freak. ^_^
