In other news.

Jamie's eyes closed, and he breathed with heavy, broken rhytm. Josey eased the tangled blonde head down on the blanket. For the first time he noticed the long, almost girlish eyelanshes, the smooth face.

"Grit an' sand, by god," he muttered. There was tenderness in the gesture as he smoothed the tousled hair back with a rough hand.

So, you ask, whats this from? A standard H/c slash story? No, it's from a book. The Outlaw Josey Wales, by Forrest Carter. It was later turned into a movie starring Clint Eastwood.

Just felt like sharing that. :)

The Outlaw Josey Wales

Oh, so that's what that's from.....Phish had a song on 'Farmhouse' called "The Inlaw Josie Wales" and I just assumed it was some weird Phish-y thing.

So now I am enlightened. Cool. ^_^

I will not write slash about Clint Eastwood.

I will not write slash about Clint Eastwood.

I will write slash about people like Russell Crowe and Leonardo Di Caprio or Matt Damon and that guy from ET (the extra-terrestrial, not Entertainment Tonight, it's in All The Pretty Horses).

*frustrated look at Melle*

More bunnies.

It is a cute passage.

And I actually don't squick at the idea of Clint slash. So.
