I have managed to get the puter to recognise the scanner again. Muah!

How did you do it? I really need to know. My computer and scanner spent about ten minutes communicating, eight months ago, and then never again.

I just pulled the plug on the scanner, plugged it in again, and voila. That prolly won't be of any help to you, is it? Sawwy.

Probably not, but it might be as effective as any other method. Will give it a shot when I get home.
