Okay. So. Let's get two things straight here. One: I don't want kids. I like them, but i have no desire to have some of my own. Ever at all. Two: I don't like males "like that." Ever at all.
So why is it that male + young child = goo!Melle?
(I have a puppie snippet idea in this realm. By th time I will have finished writing it, I will be unable to have children, because my ovaries will have exploded.)
WHY?

Ech. I know exactly what you mean, but there's just something horribly, horribly attractive about a man with a child. It exudes... responsibility, or something. Which can be very, very sexy.
*attempts to not find Bono shexy with the idea in mind this will save her from U2!slash. which it won't.*

Awwww
Do you know whose funeral it was?
Anyways, re the men & babies thing, I *know* what you mean. It's not about wanting to be the baby's mother, though, because I do like men like that, and I know when I look at a guy with a baby I don't (necessarily) want to be a part of the picture, I see it as a complete picture on it's own.
I think it's about vulnerability. Men get mushy, and even emotional, with a baby. I know my brother does with my niece, it's very sweet to watch (though he would kill me if I said that to him). It's one of the few places men are allowed to show emotion and vulnerability without seeming like a wuss or a wimp or "un-masculne". No one calls a guy cuddling a baby a wuss, they think it's cute.
Yes, I've succumbed to the adorableness. In my case, it's all Ben's fault for doing a movie years ago where he played a teen who got his gf pregnant.
